"This report analyses Greek legislation in a number of sectors and identifies about 350 legal provisions which could be removed or amended to lift regulatory barriers to competition. The work undertaken in the project has involved the review of over 1 200 pieces of legislation in these sectors of the economy, using the OECD Competition Assessment Toolkit. The analysis of the legislation and of the Greek sectors has been complemented by research into international experience and consultation with stakeholders from the public and private sectors" Read more and read on line for free.

About Research and data to make progress against the world’s largest problems. Based at Oxford Martin Programme on Global Development
(Wikipedia) "Our World in Data (OWID) is a scientific online publication that focuses on large global problems such as poverty, disease, hunger, climate change, war, existential risks, and inequality. It is a project of the Global Change Data Lab, a registered charity in England and Wales, and was founded by Max Roser, a social historian and development economist. The research team is based at the University of Oxford." | EuroMOMO
(Statens Serum Institute, DK.) "Our mission is to reinforce the EU's preparedness to respond to potential risk of all hazards by a continued operation of the EuroMOMO network which ensures quality checked, standardised weekly mortality monitoring." Greece is EuroMOMO networks' partner.
(Excerpt of history)"The overall objective of the original European Mortality Monitoring Project was to design a routine public health mortality monitoring system aimed at detecting and measuring, on a real-time basis, excess number of deaths related to influenza and other possible public health threats across participating European Countries. This objective was originally targeted in a (E.C.) DG Sanco supported project that ran from 2008-2011." | IOBE - The Foundation for Economic & Industrial Research (IOBE)
"A private, non-profit, public-benefit research organisation. It was established in 1975 with the dual purpose of promoting research on current problems and prospects of the Greek economy and its sectors and of generating reliable information, analysis and proposals for action that are non produced elsewhere and can thus be of high value to policy makers in the context of economic policy making." "In that sense, IOBE holds a unique position in Greek society: it is the only politically independent, non-partisan body dealing with major issues of the economy, and it aspires to being pro-active, that is, it seeks to identify, at an early stage, economic issues that can become crucial in the future and to propose timely solutions for these." | "Greece in Numbers" - The hub for data about Greece |

| URBACT : Hydro-Heritage Cities (Innovation Transfer Network) "Culture meets nature for sustainable water and heritage management"
PARTNERS Lead Partner : Chalandri - Greece | Elche - Spain | Roeselare - Belgium | Rome - Italy | Serpa - Portugal | Sombor - Serbia
Hydro-Heritage Cities network that collaborates on adapting the know-how of the Urban Innovative Actions project Cultural H.ID.RA.N.T. in diverse local contexts. Building on Chalandri’s integrated, participatory approach, the network draws inspiration from the revitalisation of a still-functioning Roman aqueduct, which was re-integrated into urban life. Hydro-Heritage Cities aims to test and refine this model as a prototype for regenerating cultural heritage sites linked to water in a sustainable, community-driven way, while also addressing climate change challenges and strengthening citizens' sense of belonging and ownership. | 1.2.3.
