EUA is the representative organisation of universities and national rectors’ conferences in 47 European countries. EUA plays a crucial role in the Bologna Process and in influencing EU policies on higher education, research and innovation.

EURASHE is the European Association of Institutions in Higher Education that offer professionally orientated programmes and are engaged in applied research within the Bologna cycles. EURASHE represents universities of applied sciences and university colleges; other members of EURASHE are national and sectorial associations of higher education institutions, and other individual institutions, such as universities.

A well-established network of research-intensive universities. We develop and disseminate our views on research, innovation and higher education through policy papers, statements, meetings and events helping to shape policy at the EU level.

The Utrecht Network is a representative European-wide network of universities cooperating in the area of internationalisation.

Αn international non-profit association, was founded in Pécs Hungary in December 2006, by 15 founding members. The creation of UNeECC originates from the idea that it would be useful for Universities and establishments of Higher Education based in European Capitals of Culture to use this well known and prestigious European institution to stimulate new forms of academic and educational institutional collaboration.

UNIMED, founded in October 1991, is an association of Universities from the countries of the Mediterranean basin (www.uni-med.net ). It counts 112 associated Universities coming from 23 countries of both shores of Mediterranean (data updated to June 2018).
