The European Commission has published a call for proposals for ERASMUS for young entrepreneurs.
This call aims to help new EU entrepreneurs enrich their experiences, learning and networking by spending periods with experienced entrepreneurs in their enterprises in other EU Member States.
The objectives of the preparatory action are to enhance the entrepreneurship, internationalisation and competitiveness of potential start-up entrepreneurs and newly established micro and small enterprises in the EU.
Specifically, the Commission's specific objectives are to:
- provide on-the-job-training for new entrepreneurs in small and medium-sized enterprises elsewhere in the EU in order to facilitate a successful start-up and development of their business ideas;
- foster sharing of experience and information between entrepreneurs on the obstacles and challenges of starting up and developing their businesses;
- enhance market access and identification of potential partners for new and established businesses in other EU countries;
- support networking between entrepreneurs from different Member States by building on knowledge and experience from other European countries.
The activity targets people intending to set up a business and recently established entrepreneurs.
